Sources and corrections
Where the facts come from and how to flag a mistake.
Important claims link to the official page or document behind them.
Check a source
Each guide ends with a numbered source list. The access date shows when the source was last checked for that published version.
Links can change. If an agency moves a document, the guide should be updated to its new official location without changing the claim it supports.
Corrections
If a rule changes or a source no longer supports the wording, the guide is rechecked before publication. Material corrections receive a note that explains what changed. Cosmetic edits do not receive a new review date.
Use the contact form to flag a correction. Do not send financial documents, account numbers, identification numbers, or other sensitive information.
